J-Studio was born out of my passion for Photography and Website Development and its got a bit of a twist to it. Although I will at times accept cash for a project my main goal with J-Studio is to rather trade my services for yours...
Let me explain it quite plainly like this: Say for instance you (or your daughter for that matter) needs a website (maybe because she just started out with wedding photography) and as chance would have it my wife might just need a root canal... So instead of me forking out R3500 for the root canal and you R3500 for your website (although you'll pay alot more than that for something decent) let's just trade services! Get it? Yes, I know it's very unique and possibly strange but that's how I roll and I'm hoping one day we can roll... :)
It's important to me when I build websites that it's not just a one off event leaving you with a static presence on the world wide web. Your website needs to work for your business, grow your business and if it does it does so 24/7!
That's why I use the popular content management system (CMS) called Joomla to build my websites. Joomla provides an easy-to-use interface which you'll be able to use to update your website yourself after it's been build and published. I'll provide you with video training material showing you step-by-step how to update the various sections of your website. There's also a multitude (close to 5000) extensions available for the Joomla platform should you wish to add more functionality to your website at a later stage.
In closing, you can expect honesty and openness from me. I won't take on a project if I won't have the time or if the project goes beyond my current available resources. In that case I'll rather just give you good advice and maybe refer you to someone I trust which will be able to meet your needs.
